EXPOSING IDAHO'S RISKY NATURE

Steve and Kim Machado have been trekking in Idaho and its neighboring states for years. Making memories, taking photos, and experiencing the magnificence of the greatest of outdoor locations along the way. Nothing compares to Idaho wilderness, but sometimes a gorgeous photograph can capture our attention so intensely, we forget the potential drawbacks. The kind that can leave you cold, wet, disoriented, or just down right afraid.

We recognize the confusing nature between filtered social media photos and harsh reality. It draws you in, then punches you in the midsection with harsh weather and endless elevation gain.

We are determined to reduce the number of visitors that take an Idaho beating. Our designs are a fashionable  awareness campaign intended to help the inexperienced stay safe. Join us and look good doing it!

WHY MASHIDAHO?

Idaho is somewhat famous for their high-quality potatoes. And, one of the best things to do with a potato is mash it.

The Machados (pronounced muh-shaw-doe) started down a path of warning the well-intentioned but underprepared wilderness adventure crowd in 2024. And, if there’s one thing we know, it’s this. People have a difficult time pronouncing our last name. Machado. Let’s make it easy. Think of potatoes, and think of “Mash”. Think of Idaho, and think of Mashidaho. Sounds alot like Machado.
